Spectrum Art 1 Lesson for Sept 29

SPECTRUM HOMESCHOOL COMMUNITY
Art 1 Lesson Plans September 29, 2011

PRE CLASS: students present work done over the week for instructor’s critique.

OUR INSPIRATION FOR TODAY: Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Why do we want to do art or writing, or sports or anything else for that matter?  As people who love and obey God we want to serve him and so we want to be able to serve those people he loves. He gives us opportunities to do good to his children as a way to show our love to him. There are many ways to use art to do good to others, think of ways to use art to do good. Go for it and you will be blessed.

INSTRUCTION AND DEMONSTRATION ON TECHNIQUE:   We will discuss how to place several objects in a composition for effect and interest we will use autumn leaves to compose a picture.

Draw those things that are dangerous hiding in the mountains. Maybe lions or bandits or trolls, snakes  or enemies whatever your danger is
