Warm Up. Straight lines crisscrossing like checkerboard, 2.Alternating swirls, 3.Drawing a semi truck with only using recognizable shapes such as squares, rectangles and circles.
Quick Sketch challenge I will arrange several kitchen objects on a table to be like a still life.
Instruction: using a grid to help define a picture's proportions and to help copy a picture.
Exercise: the students will be given a choice of pictures that they will copy using a grid to clarify placement of items in the picture.
Free choice drawing will include choices 1. Books, 2. Boat, 3. Dragon model, 4. Rose
Long term project. We are continuing to prepare to do a masterpiece self portrait. This week students will use a grid to copy their face.
Missed lessons can be made up at not charge for spectrum students at SCBC Thursday nights 6:30 to 8:30.
